Flippers anyone?

We spend most of our days swimming and playing in the water. The girls really took off swimming this year and have found new freedom. One thing they have been asking for is masks. They think they are neat and really want one. Jackson has one and has been asking for flippers. He thinks that they would be so fun. We wanted to wait until we were sure that they were going to swim before we bought them. Well.... they swim. So, we made the decision to get them masks.
We ventured to Target to try to find something. It is the middle of summer, so finding a good selection will be tough. At Target they had little packs that had a mask, snorkel and flippers all together. The kids saw that and went nuts. They had to have them. We laughed because we knew that it would be a disaster, but they weren't too expensive so we thought they could give it a try. The girls had a great time trying them on.

Oh let the fun begin. We headed out to the beach and the kids started getting all geared up. It was fabulous until they had to get up and head to the water.

Jaideyn attempting to walk to the water. She fell about 3 times also. We had a great time watching all of this go down. It was very entertaining and we laughed a lot. I think that all the kids kept the flippers on in the water for about 2 minutes and then realized it really was too hard and not so fun. They came running back with them and threw them in the sand and headed back out to swim. Oh well..... it was fun while it lasted.
