Another birthday party

We celebrated Avery's birthday at Papa and Mema's on Saturday night. Avery was so excited to get presents. I don't think that she remembers her last birthday, so this present thing is "new" to her. She has seen Jackson get birthday presents in the last month, and now is so happy that it is her turn.

Avery got a new cleaning cart and vacuum from Papa and Mema. She loves to pretend she is cleaning! Now it may be time to teach her to do it for real!

The birthday cake. The kids spend more time talking about what kind of cake that they want, than they do talking about what presents they want. They love the presents, but I think the most anticipated part of the birthday is seeing and eating the cake. As you can see in the pic Avery was very pleased with her cake! Good job Mema!!

It also tasted very good. Nothing beats a Costco cake!

Happy Birthday Avery!

Our baby is 3!! I can't even believe it! While I am so happy and thankfull that she is growing up and enjoying life~I selfishly wish she would stay 2 her whole life. But, that is not the case so we must celebrate her 3rd birthday! The tradition in our family is that we have a small gift ready for them to open as soon as they get up in the morning and then they have one more gift that they open at night when we have cake. This year was neat because Jackson and Jaideyn are old enough to understand gift giving, so they each picked out their own gift for Avery. They were very excited to give her their gifts, so those were the ones that she opened right away in the morning. She was so excited.

Avery has taken a liking to the shirts and the slogan~ and always asks Tim to wear his "hook 'em horns" shirt. This has been something fun that they share. So, for Avery's birthday Tim found this shirt online and got it for her. She was sooooo excited to have her very own "hook 'em horns" shirt. She asks to wear it everyday!
