Special time with Uncle Mark

Uncle Mark and Aunt Diana came into town for a weekend and we were able to spend some time with them. We love it when they are here and enjoy every minute of it. I caught this pic and thought it was so neat. Uncle Mark taking time to play checkers with Jackson. It seem like a small thing, but to Jackson it meant the world. This time with Uncle Mark is one that he will treasure for a long time. Thank you Uncle Mark!

Some more beautys of that kid!

Avery helped herself to a seat and table. Just thought it was cute!

One of Avery's favorite things to do is change her clothes. She loves to empty out her drawers and find "cute" things to wear. I don't love it only because she empties all of her clothes out of the drawers and then I get to fold it all back up and put it away. But, I let her do it because it keeps her busy and it's so funny to see what she comes up with. This time she got all dressed up and sang for me! I called her my little 80's rocker chic! Please notice her leopard print underwear hanging out. She got the outfit right all the way down to her "pannies"! This was also when she was diagnosed with fifth's disease~so that is why her cheeks are so pink!

She even got the 80's rocker chic stance right. She was totally in character today~ and didn't even know it!!

Happy Valentines Day!

For Valentine's Day Jaideyn's preschool class had a little program for the parent's and grandparent's. They recited rhymes and memory work that they learned this year and also sang lots of songs. This class took the task very seriously and yelled most of the time, so it was hard to understand them, but their enthusiasm was awesome!! We were taking pics and Jaideyn spotted us and gave us this cute face!

Getting ready to perform!

Jaideyn and Raegan

After the program the kids got to eat cookies and punch and then we were able to go into the classroom and Jaideyn showed us some of her favorite stuff! What a fun experience for Jaideyn and for us. I am so thankful for Jaideyn and her love for God, school and her friends. Prescchool at BCCS has truly been a blessing!!

Happy Birthday Avery~Again!

We celebrated Avery's 3rd birthday with the Koster family.

Avery's favorite thing~"hook 'em horns." Grandma knows all about Avery and Tim's love for the longhorns, so she made a new blanket for Avery. That was such a fun suprise and Avery thought it was the coolest thing on earth! She sleeps with it every night!

And of course, our favorite movie~Boz!

We celebrate birthdays once a month with the Koster family, so that means there are usually 4 0r 5 people celebrating at one time. So, we have one cake and we switch the candle to the appropriate number for the person and they sit on the stool and get their pic taken and we sing to them. Well, there are 10 adults and 14 kids singing and it gets very interesting. Each person seems to sing their own version of the song and the louder the better. And we sing to each person seperately. It is hilarious and not ever really on tune. I got a pic of Avery's reaction to the not so quiet round of Happy Birthday. I think that it was a bit much for her!

Oh Aves!!! Here is Avery eating her cake and icecream. I found her sipping out of her bowl to make sure that she gets every last drop of icecream! Just another reason that we love you so much Aves!!
