Happy Birthday Avery!

Happy birthday Avery (about a month late....) Avery turned 2 on Jan. 23 and we celebrated her birthday with some family and friends at the fabulous McDonald's!! Not too exciting, I know, but we asked her where she wanted to go for her birthday and all she wanted was "Donald's play!" So, we gathered the troops and headed to Mc Donald's. Avery was in her glory. What's better than french fries, presents, friends and cake???
Avery got some adorable presents (thank you to everyone- you are so thoughtfull!) Papa and Mema suprised Avery with the talking Elmo doll. She saw it in Target one time and was playing with it and loved it. So we passed on that info and when she opened it she was actually a bit scared of it. But she warmed up to it over the night and she has loved playing with it ever since!

This is Avery's version of two! When you ask her how old she is she holds up her two fingers and says "two!!!"

Uncle Don and Aunt Ruth stopped by to help us celebrate. Aves was so excited to have you guys there! Thank you.

The whole crew enjoying some ever so tasty food! Here is Avery and her buddy Sam hanging out!
It was a fun night for all of us. I can't believe that our baby is 2 already, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love this age! Aves is so precious and says the cutest things. I couldn't imagine our lives without our little Aves.
And our next birthday party- a month later! We celebrated January and February birthdays this last weekend with the Koster family. We gathered at Steve and Chris' house (thank you Chris- you are very brave!)
On Saturday night we celebrated the birthdays of Lisa, Steve, Blake, Mason and Avery. It was chaos (as always) but so much fun! We thank God for our wonderful cousins everyday!

Avery with her fabulous "cheese" smile for the camera!

Avery got a new bike from Papa and Grandma. Tim and I were out of ideas for Avery's birthday. The peanut has pretty much everything (mostly hand me downs from Jackson and Jaideyn) so on a whim we suggested a bike that she could actually reach the peddles. So Papa and Grandma gave her this princess bike. Aves absolutely loves it and she can ride it great!!! The fun part is that when we asked her what she wanted for her birthday (after we already knew about the bike) she said "a new bike with princesses on it!!" This was totally out of the blue- I guess we actually do know her pretty well!!! And she got the adorable rubber boots for all the outdoor play that we are looking forward to this spring!

Another one of the famous "cheese" smiles- posing with Aunt Chris.

And yet another pose with Grandma! It was too cute to pass up!
