A big storm

This fall we had a big wind storm and it took down one of our trees in the back woods. When we woke up and looked out the window the kids were amazed to see a rather large tree had split in half and fell into our yard.

So, Tim called up some buddies and to work they went.

The kiddos had to get in on the action too. I think Avery's favorite part was that Mr. Steve had a big truck. She spent the whole time climbing in and out, on and around the truck.

Jackson was a big helper and stacked logs and picked up the sticks out of the yard. We have never had this happen before, so this was a pretty exciting and monumental day for the kids!
