One day Jackson came home from school with a little brown bean seed that he wanted to plant. I humored him and planted it with him~thinking that this would never turn into anything. We aren't fabulous with plant growing around here. Well, after a few days it began to sprout. We watered it and watched it diligently and to our amazement it began to grow and grow and grow. We were so excited when it got this big and we had to take a picture of it.
Little did we know that it would not stop growing. It is so awesome. It has the perfect home in the window~it gets plenty of sunlight (probably shouldn't have take this pic at night) and we water it. This pic was from about a week ago and now we have discovered that it is growing beans. Unbelievable. We have 3 beans right now and several sprouts. I have no idea what kind of beans they are, they are flat and kinda twisty. Maybe they will grow into green beans and we can eat them??? We really don't know. Ideas anyone??? Anyways, we just wanted to post this so that we can watch the progress. More to come......
