On Christmas day we went to Dad and Mom's house to celebrate Christmas. We had dinner first which consisted of everyones favorites. Ham for Tim, eggs for Mark and Jaideyn, Oinkers in a sleeping bag for Jackson, rolls for Avery and salad for Mom and me. It is pretty random, but everyone is happy. Let us not forget Dad who loves it when my Mom makes the traditional oliebollen. She has been making them for years, and we all look forward to them on Christmas day. It is one of our traditions. I was not sure how to spell the proper name for them and so I looked it up~we don't pronounce it like it's spelled but that is no suprise coming from our family. So that is the proper spelling and it is a dutch doughnut. I believe that my Grandma Brink used to make them and it has been passed on to our family. So Christmas dinner is a neat and fun experience for all of us.

This Christmas Chad was missed! He was not able to come home, so he made a point to call us while we were opening presents. We all took turns talking to him and I happened to get a pic (not so cute~but wanted to put it in) of Avery talking on the phone to Chad. She got the phone and found a comfy spot on the chair and had a little chat with Uncle Chad. Although we are sad that we don't see Uncle Chad enough I am thankful that the kids talk to him enough to feel totally comfortable with him. They just hang out and chat as if he is just down the road. Thank you so much for your generous gifts and keep the calls coming Uncle Chad! We love you!

Helping Papa open his present.

Giving Uncle Mark a little love and helping him open his present.

So, excited. Dad and Mom suprised Diana and I with the CHI!!

This was one of the most fun gifts of the night. Avery got this microphone and had a riot with it. She even made up her own song "Jesus loves me deep blue time.... Heaven nature walking too!" We just thought that she was being silly singing it, but she sang the exact same words over and over. She combined a bunch of songs on this one. Anyways, all the kids got into it and we had a concert of Christmas songs after the presents were all opened.

Oh the excitement of FINALLY getting the 7 in 1.

Avery got a bitty baby for Christmas and named her Lacey.

Jaideyn with her bitty baby Allie and all her new clothes that she got for Christmas.
What a wonderful Christmas. The kids were so fun this year and really appreciated and loved their gifts. And of course we were all spoiled! We are very blessed!
