Happy Birthday!!!

Our baby (or should I say little man!) has turned 5!!! I can not believe that he is 5 already. Time goes by so fast. I still remeber when he was born like it was yesterday!
I remeber how he used to always put his hands over his eyes as he drank a bottle, and how he would play in his exersaucer for hours and then just peacefully fall asleep! He has been such a blessing in our lives since the day we found out about him!!
Time has gone by so fast!! It seems like we went from feeding him bottles and crawling around on the floor, to building legos and playing Leapster in no time!!
We love you so much bubba!!

I can't resist!!

So, we had a Christmas party at our house last weekend with some friends and my gift was this punching bag! Of course we had to get it all out and try it. It was hilarious! I caught this wonderful shot of my dear athletic sister in law and I could not resist posting it!! We love you!

Busy Girls!

Busy Busy Girls!!! On the mornings when Jackson has school the girls get the run of the house! They each have their own little project that they begin each morning!

Avery immediately goes to the Ziploc drawer and proceeds to unload everything she can find!

Jaideyn pulls up a chair, turns on her songs CD, gets her water bottle and finds something to play with. Today she decided that she needed to put on make up as she was listening to her songs. What fun we have at the Koster house!!!

The sick house!

So, we live in the sick house! Stay far far away!

Yesterday we took Avery to the doctor because she was in really rough shape over the weekend. And the poor little peanut has a double ear infection and a sinus infection! So, we got her started on the drugs and figured we would be on the upward swing today. Not so much! About 9:00 last night Jackson threw up. Fortunately he is old enough to at least try to contain it to the bowl we provided him. He then went to bed and woke up to throwing up again at about 11:30. Unfortunately this time it went all over the place. So, the laundry begins!

We put him to sleep on the couch and I slept on the living room floor next to him all night (very comfortable!) He woke up a few times throwing up, and then settled into a nice sleep about 4:30AM! In the mean time arounf 2:00AM I hear Avery coughing and I go in to check on her and she is covered in throw up! So, we start the whole process over again. I ended up doing 3 loads of laundry after midnight!!

What fun, what fun! But, as mothers we have all been through this. It really isn't that bad though. Its one night and then its done. And I must admit, even though they are puking all over the place, I still love it when they are sick! Nothing better than being able to cuddle with your 4 year old on the couch for an hour!!!

But, it is now Tuesday night and all is well. Jackson took a 3 hour nap today and woke up back to his old self. Avery is still questionale, but I would cry too if I were her!!!!!

My little papoose!!!

Isn't she cute? Thank you to our friend Kelly who makes the kids these wonderful towels! I love them and every time I wrap the kids up in them I just have to call them my liitle papoose! The kids have learned to love it. Every time they get out of the bath they ask "Mom, can I be your little papoose?!!" (Sorry, Jaideyn didn't make the cut on this one!)
