One day this fall Avery had a doctors appointment in Rockford, so I decided that we would take a field trip into town and check out the river, the nature walk and also the stores. So we invited Mema to come along and we spent the day in Rockford.

After enjoying the river we headed into the fun stores with all the rustic stuff. The kids thought the hats were really neat.
