Raking leaves

One of our favorite times of year is when all of the leaves fall and we get to rake them and jump in them! The kids are getting a bit older and are able to help out a little more now. This is one chore that they really enjoy!

This is usually the time that we clean out the shed and get it packed up for winter, so all of the toys come out. One last ride through the leaves on the gator for Jaideyn and Avery.

This fall Tim bought the kids each their own rake so they could help. I must say that this was a brilliant idea. They were so excited to have their very own rake that they didn't even stop to complain or think about how hard they were working!

And of course once the pile is big enough the bikes come out and the kiddos ride through the leaves. Raking leaves is a lot of work, but always a fun family day at our house!
